Banana Bread

1/4 Cup Butter |
1 Tablespoon
Baking Soda |
| 1/2 Cup
Brown Sugar |
2 Eggs,
Beaten |
| 1/2 Cup
Granulated Sugar |
3 Ripe
Bananas, Mashed |
| 3 Cups
Flour, Sifted |
1 Cup Nuts,
Optional |
| 1/2
Teaspoon Salt |

Cream
butter and sugars, add beaten eggs. Sift flour, salt and baking soda
together, add to creamed mixture alternately wiht bananas. Fold in nuts.
Pour batter into a greased loaf pan. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for
55-65 minutes. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes. Turn out of pan and
finish cooling on wire rack. |
