Applesauce Raisin Muffins

Yield: 2 Dozen

1/2 Cup Butter 3/4 Teaspoon Salt
1 -1/2 Cups Sugar 2 Teaspoons Ground Cinnamon
3 Eggs 1 Teaspoon Ground Cloves
2 Cups Applesauce (any Kind) 1 Teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
2-1/2 Cups Flour 1 Cup Raisins
2 Teaspoons Baking Soda 2 Teaspoons Flour

In large bowl beat butter, sugar, eggs and applesauce until fluffy.

Sift the 2-1/2 cups flour, baking soda, salt, and spices together and stir into wet mixture. Toss raisins with 2 tsp. flour and stir into batter. Spoon batter into greased muffin tins, filling 2/3 full.

Bake 325° oven for 20-25 min or until done.
