Crisp Golden Chicken

From "The Basics and More Cookbook" available at Yoder's Country Market

1 1/4 Cup Whole Wheat Flour 1 Teaspoon Black Pepper
1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese, Grated 3 Teaspoons Salt
1 1/2 Teaspoons Poultry Seasoning 1 Egg
2 Teaspoons Paprika 1/2 Cup Water
2 Teaspoons Seasoned Salt 2 Fryers, Cut Up
1 Teaspoon Celery Salt 1/2 Cup Margarine

Mix dry ingredients in a large plastic bag. Mix egg with water. Dip chicken in egg mixture, then in flour mixture. Place chicken in single layer on a cookie sheet or baking pan in which margarine has been melted. Bake at 400° for 1/2 hour, then turn chicken and reduce heat to 375° for home-grown chickens and to 350° for store-bought chickens. Bake another 1/2 hour.
