Soft Flour Tortillas

Yield: 8 Servings

3 Cups All Purpose Flour 1 Cup Warm Water
1 teaspoon Baking Powder 1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
1 Teaspoon Salt

Combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Stir in the water and oil. When combined, turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 2-3 minutes, just until smooth. (Don't use too much flour.) Divide into 10 "lumps" and on a floured surface roll out into about 8" circles. (Smaller for thicker shells). Cook on an ungreased, dry griddle (a skillet will work). on medium heat (about 325) for about 30 seconds to a minute, or until the tortilla begins to puff slightly. Flip and cook until done.
